Course Features

Your career path could lead you to a role as a school administrator, policy writer, non-profit or advocacy group leader or researcher. That means you’ll need to have a solid grasp on how students with disabilities learn most effectively, and an interest in conceiving of and implementing ways to make education more accessible to them.

Our program places equal importance on research and implementation, including strategies for designing and presenting educational research. Students will become familiar with the school environment of inclusive education, gaining experience by practicing the implementation of the core ideas behind their studies.

Upon successful completion of our online Master of Special and Inclusive Education, students should be able to:

  • Evaluate research projects that focus on inclusive education
  • Adjust their teaching style and resources to support all students in an inclusive classroom
  • Design and implement programs that support the individual needs of children with disabilities
  • Analyze curriculums and offer solutions on how to better approach inclusive education
  • Use technology in innovative ways to help disabled people access knowledge
