• The MA in English Studies enables students to pursue their passion for literature, language and writing while developing the professional skills necessary to compete in today’s marketplace.
• The program offers students the opportunity to examine literary, theoretical and critical texts from a variety of cultural contexts, and fosters advanced skills of comprehension, interpretation, and analysis.
• A core feature of the program is the investigation of topics pertaining to Linguistics, Literature and culture(s) with courses such as English in Globalization, Theories of Literature, Postcolonial Studies, World Literature, Second Language Acquisition, Ecocriticism and English Language Teaching Methodology, enabling students to develop practical and academic techniques for further research in the fields of Literature and Linguistics.
• Holders of the MA in English Language and Literature are eligible under the Cypriot law to operate their own language institute.
