• The Biomedical Sciences Program is designed to provide students with a solid scientific foundation in biology covering the fundamentals of cellular and moclecular biology, biochemistry, anatomy & physiology, genetics, immunology and microbiology in relation to human health and disease
• Most courses are accompanied by weekly laboratory-based exercises during which students are acquainted with basic laboratory techniques performed in the field of study and acquire the necessary laboratory skills that will render them competitive in the job market
• The program also prepares students to play an important role in understanding the pathogenetic mechanism underlying common diseases and enables them to take part in the generation of new knowledge in relation to detecting, and treating a disease.
• Students are also engaged in research projects through their diploma thesis being thus prepared to to pursue postgraduate studies in health professions to follow an academic or research career in the medical or biomedical fields
