The Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program is designed to provide students with comprehensive understanding of biological, animal and behavioral sciences, as well as training in clinical and professional skills required for veterinary medicine. Graduates demonstrate Day One Competencies for Veterinarians as prescribed by the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT). A new graduate will be capable of independently performing appropriate entry-level duties and practice veterinary medicine at a primary care level.
